Thinking about Knowledge Acquisition, Exploration, and Reasoning

The world is a captivating place filled with countless scientific wonders. How do they embark on their journey of learning, sharing, and creating new insights? This project aims to understand the mechanisms of children's scientific reasoning process and b) explore how parents and children together utilize diverse knowledge to deepen their understanding of the world. In this study, parents and children will engage in child-friendly stories and games during 20 minutes. By exploring children's scientific thinking and the dynamics of parent-child interaction, we aim to provide insights that contribute to the growth of knowledge, curiosity, and reasoning in children’s minds.
